Workforce Solutions Cameron operates two full-service One-Stop Workforce Centers, a satellite Workforce Center, and a Mobile Resource Lab that provide a broad range of business-directed services, including customer service, supervisor training, language and computer skills education, classroom training, and On-the-Job Training (OJT). Customers can utilize the many resources available within our Center to aid them in their job search, to include referrals to resource agencies within the community.

The Workforce Centers are strategically located within the two largest cities in Cameron County: Harlingen and Brownsville. A visit to the nearest center is less than 30 minutes from any area within Cameron County. For Cameron County residents who have limited transportation, our Mobile Resource Lab visits with different areas each month, with a focus on rural communities.

Resource rooms, including the Mobile Resource Lab, have internet connectivity to link job seekers with Work-In-Texas (WIT) and other local, state, and national job listings. Resources, such as computers, telephones, fax machine, and the latest labor market information, are available to make job search easier and faster.
