The Texas Early Education Model (TEEM) project is charged with using the TEEM model to provide cost-effective coordinated & integrated services among early childhood care and education programs by demonstrating that: 1) program quality would be enhanced, 2) number of children being served by full-day, full year programs would be increased, 3) effective professional development would be increased, and 4) no weakening of standards or diminishment of services would have occurred.

Our local TEEM project identified Early Childhood Science as an area needing professional development. Early Childhood Science has not been officially added as a TEEM component, but it has proved to be an exciting force to motivate our teachers.
